We are currently seeking Account Executives:
Décor and Style magazine is an award-winning home design and lifestyle publication whose target audience enjoys elegant homes and luxurious lifestyles. We feature articles on interior design, architecture, home furnishings, artists and designers, travel, dining and finances.
With a monthly circulation of more than 50,000, Décor and Style magazine mails directly to the most affluent owner–occupied homes in San Diego County. With the growth of the county, so goes the growth of the magazine and the need for well-qualified sales individuals. The account executive should possess and demonstrate the following attributes:
- A well organized individual demonstrating effective sales skills
- Self-disciplined and motivated to success
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Team Player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Magazine experience preferred
- Flexible schedule with 30+ hours per week. Please send resume and references.

internship opportunities
We offer internships in our departments for Design and Editorial. Internships are open to students seeking college course credit only. This is a great opportunity to create portfolio pieces and gain experience in publishing.
Design Internship: Tasks are color correcting images, advertisement design, stock photography research, and page layout. You must be MAC savvy, and familiar with Adobe programs (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator), QuarkXpress, FTP use, and CD archiving. Working knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver, and Flash a plus. Editorial Internship: Duties are to collect & manage press materials & images, research articles, write table of contents and occasional features, caption photos, and compile calendar. Requirements include research and office experience, organizational skills, computer proficiency and writing ability. Please e-mail resume and writing sample to barrie@decorandstyle.com.
